As a registered social worker, I offer psychotherapy for high-functioning adults and students experiencing overthinking, burnout, emotional ups and downs, and constant pressure to perform. For many clients—especially those from immigrant or minority backgrounds—there can be added layers of cultural expectations, generational trauma, or feeling like they don’t quite belong. Even starting therapy can feel intimidating or like another task to get right.

I offer a client-centred, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive space where we can slow down and explore what’s really going on—with gentleness, curiosity, and self- compassion. I tailor each session to your unique background, values, and goals, drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities. My aim is to create a warm, collaborative environment where you feel safe, understood, and supported. Together, we’ll work to untangle unhelpful patterns, reconnect with your inner strengths, and help you move forward with greater clarity, calm, and resilience.

Experience: I hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Toronto, with a specialization in mental health, and am registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. Over the past four years, I’ve worked at Psyvitaliti Psychotherapy supporting students and young adults with anxiety, depression, burnout, intergenerational trauma, eating disorders, and relationship challenges. I’ve also contributed to research and mental health education through Immigrant Services Calgary and For a Safer Space.

Client Focus: Individuals, Teens (12–18), High school and university students, BIPOC clients, Asian clients, First- and Second-Generation Immigrants

Therapy Approaches: CBT, DBT, EFT, ACT, Mindfulness, Narrative Therapy

Issues Treated: Anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, life transitions

Specialties: Eating disorders, generational trauma, racial and cultural identity, family- related conflict, body image concerns, inner child and attachment work, academic burnout, perfectionism

More Than Just My Work: Music and DIY crafts are my favourite ways to unwind and reconnect with joy. I play both the cello and the GuZheng (古筝), and I’ve also been trained in opera singing in English and Italian. When I’m not making music, I love creating beautiful things—painting, beading, ceramics, flower arranging, or crocheting. Creative expression helps me bring calm, joy, and inspiration into daily life.

In my work as a clinical psychologist, I offer a warm, grounded, and non-judgmental space, while providing clear clinical guidance to help you understand what’s happening beneath the surface and move forward with intention.

I work with adults and teens navigating anxiety, stress and burnout, trauma, identity concerns, and relationship challenges, and bring over seven years of experience in private practice to this work.

My approach is flexible and evidence-based, integrating Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for anxiety, stress, and burnout, EMDR for trauma-related concerns, and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) focused on relationships and emotional patterns. Sessions are purposeful, collaborative, and goal-oriented, supporting both insight and practical, real-world change.

Together, we’ll work toward greater clarity, emotional healing, and a stronger, more stable inner foundation that supports everyday life and relationships.

I practice within Invivo Psychology’s psychologist-led, evidence-based model of care and work closely with the clinical team to ensure thoughtful, high-quality support for each client. I offer sessions in both English and Spanish.

If you’re considering starting therapy, I invite you to reach out so we can explore whether working together feels like the right fit.
